I got these to put on my adjustable desks so I could move them around easier. Works great, stays on with no problem, and rolls smoothly. Very sturdy no problems at all.

This is a good looking and very well made set of 4 casters with brake. Unfortunately, the stem is too short for mounting on the thick plywood base of my latest creation. The picture makes the stems look longer, but when I read the specifications on Amazon, just to make sure they would be long enough, 1 inch isn't going to allow the nut to even go more than 1/2 on (and I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to use a big fat washer under the nut to hold it better!) Well, these are still good looking and very well made, so I'll keep them for the next project with a thinner base, probably made of 1/2 inch metal plate like aluminum, and THEN mount that plate with the casters attached to the device, like a plywood layer with that non-slip rubber material glued on, to make it multi-purpose. Even if I could find these for sale at the local stores they would cost a lot more, so as disappointed as I was to not being able to use them (already had some 4-bolt plate wheels that I had to get 16 x 1 1/2 bolts so I could use washers) it all worked out!

Strong and reliable casters. I used them on the largest Secretlabs desk and now the desk can be moved smoothly without resistance. The hard rubber wheels are firm and the brake is not flimsy - it requires some pressure to activate which I like because they don't disconnect easily. They come with the hardware needed for installation. I definitely recommend them.

YGWYPF - You get what you pay for. So make adjustments. These are nice casters but clearly not intended to be carrying a lot of weight. For my 45 lb Central Pneumatic 1.5 HP 6 Gallon 150psi compressor, these casters represent Nirvana compared to the rubber-bolted feet that came on the compressor.But there's a hitch. The stationary nut welded in place to the each caster's bolt assembly...in it's original state...left little working room for all but the narrowest of wrenches when tightening the caster assembly to the base of (e.g.) a 6 gallon compressor.I've read where others experienced the same problem. I found a simple solution. To assure you have more room/leverage to tighten each caster to your compressor, see if you don't have 4 nuts exactly the same size as the one welded to the caster bolt. I did. I then simply screwed the new nut onto the bolt all the way to the bottom, as a spacer, aligning the two nuts as closely as possible to give you plenty of room to get them very tight against the housing. You can get a very snug fit, especially if you have a nut and lock washer combo threaded onto the caster bolt from the inside. A 14mm open-end wrench seemed the best match for these dual nuts to tighten the whole thing down. But it worked perfectly.And the casters are terrific so far! The casters make the compressor very easy to move and position. And while locking all 4 wheels won't feel as stable as the heavy rubber feet of the original, they work for in-place positioning.Hope all this helps.
